Community is an extremely powerful tool online, but realizing that power in a business setting is often a major challenge. Xerox Exchange was a relaunched effort by Xerox to engage some of their audience in a more community based setting.
Xerox was preparing to unveil a new brand effort developed by Interbrand. The Exchange relaunch was to be the first marketing effort to feature that work with the Xerox corporate site soon to follow.
The Exchange site was deployed on lightweight open source technology. It also has mild community features that not only empower customers to speak with Xerox, but features a process where an acknowledged evangelist serves as the official voice of Exchange – both on the site itself and other conversation outlets around the web.
This site was completed in conjunction with Chicago Based One Design Co. as a production design partner and Visicswire handling the development.
_Xerox Exchange received a 2008 WebAward for Outstanding Website from the Web Marketing Association._
